WebSmitherz operates on a milestone-approval structure. You review and sign off on project phases before final settlement is disbursed.
To protect both parties, custom web engineering and software projects are split into explicit deliverables. Clients review wireframes, staging deployments, and functional prototypes prior to authorizing milestone payments.
Initial sprint deposits cover environment provisioning, architectural blueprints, and engineering hours. If a project is cancelled prior to development commencement, the deposit is eligible for a full refund minus unrecoverable direct infrastructure costs. Once active development has commenced, refunds are prorated based on completed milestones.
Recurring monthly retainer plans carry zero long-term lock-in and may be cancelled at any time with 14 days written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
